Sugar skull tattoos are a design associated with the Mexican tradition of celebrating the Day of the Dead. This interesting holiday is celebrated in central and southern Mexico on the 1st & 2nd of November. Even though this coincides with the Catholic holiday, All Soul’s & All Saint’s Day, the indigenous people have combined these days with their own ancient beliefs of honouring their deceased loved ones.
